E-Z Pay for WaterSense
Enroll for a chance to save water, energy, and possibly even money!

Want to experience a luxurious shower while saving water, energy, and possibly even money on utility bills? It’s possible to use less water without sacrificing the experience of full water coverage and pressure. Shower better with a WaterSense labeled showerhead and have the gratification of a satisfying shower with sustainability. WaterSense is a program by the Environmental Protection Agency focused on increasing water preservation. Look for the WaterSense label when upgrading any fixtures, such as showerheads, toilets, and faucets, to identify which products have been certified to meet the U.S. EPA’s criteria for water efficiency.
Consider upgrading your showerhead to a high performance WaterSense labeled showerhead in celebration of October being EPA WaterSense’s Shower Better Month – or better yet, enter for a chance to WIN a WaterSense labeled showerhead by entering in Concord General Services’ E-Z Pay for WaterSense contest!
To enter in the E-Z Pay for WaterSense contest, simply enroll in the City of Concord’s automatic utility billing payment plan, E-Z Pay! “E-Z Pay is the easiest way to pay your water bill. It automatically pays your bill from your bank account, so you never have to worry about a late payment,” states Terri Segalini, Fiscal Supervisor for the Utility Billing Division of Concord General Services. Consumers enrolled in E-Z Pay still receive a bill summary, which includes the date that the authorized bank account will be drafted, making it easy to track payments.

An estimated 30 gallons of water is used each day for showering in the average household. “Just by replacing an outdated showerhead with a WaterSense labeled model, the average family could reduce their water consumption up to 2,900 gallons each year! Not to mention what they could save on their energy costs and potentially even their water bill,” states Josh Worthen, Water Conservation Technician for the City of Concord.
