Early Morning, I-93 Crash Sends Salem Woman To Concord Hospital
New Hampshire State Police: A pickup truck drifted off the highway in New Hampton and crashed into a tree Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — State and local police were kept busy with an early morning accident on Interstate 93 Sunday after a single-vehicle crash in New Hampton, according to New Hampshire State Police. Troopers from Troop D as well as New Hampton police and firefighters and Bristol police were called to the highway around 3:15 a.m. after a 2010 Toyota Tacoma pickup "drifted out of (its) lane and exited the right side of the roadway," according to Staff Sgt. William Graham.
"At which point, (the driver) drove down an embankment and collided head-on with a tree," Graham added.
The driver, a 44-year-old man from Salem, was not injured; a passenger, a 40-year-old woman from Salem, was "pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated" by New Hampton firefighters, Graham said.

The right lane of the highway was closed for about an hour while the crash was cleared. Troop B troopers also assisted with the incident.
