Eastern Bank supports YMCA Camp Spaulding with $10,000 donation

The YMCA of Greater Nashua thanks Eastern Bank for its $10,000 donation in support of the planned new bathhouse and septic system at Camp Spaulding, the YMCA’s resident camp located in Penacook, NH.
Through a partnership between Child and Family Services, the YMCA of Greater Nashua and the Concord Family YMCA over 200 residence and day campers and staff are utilizing YMCA Camp Spaulding on a daily basis during the summer. The new bathhouse and septic system will meet the greater demand that the dated facilities currently in place cannot handle. Eastern Bank's commitment, along with others, will make this new bathhouse a reality.
Camp Spaulding is a resident (overnight) camp located in Penacook, NH and welcomes approximately 300 children each summer from across the state to enjoy an array of recreational offerings on the 56-acre wooded campus along the Contoocook River. Camp Spaulding, accredited by the American Camp Association, offers a legacy of adventure programming that endeavors to improve the lives of campers, during and after the camp experience. Activities include swimming and boating, performing arts, archery, woodworking, arts & crafts, high and low ropes courses, and horse-back riding, as well as outdoors living skills, cooking and nature and ecology programs.
