EMTs Sent To Fatal Gun Shot Wound Call At NHTI

Update: NHSP are investigating a person found deceased in the parking lot of Concord's community college.

CONCORD, NH — Concord Fire and Rescue and New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to the New Hampshire Technical Institute, Concord’s community college, to investigate a report that someone in the parking lot had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Limited information is available about the incident.

According to scanner chatter, a student at the school reportedly discovered the body with a gunshot wound to the head just before 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, 2017.

Officials were seen speaking to witnesses in the parking lot while school security kept students away from the area.

Alan Blake, the director of communications at NHTI, said an alert was sent to the entire campus community letting them know that an incident had taken place and that there was no immediate threat to the campus community.
