The End Of Saturated Saturdays In NH May Be Near, According To Weather Forecasters

The National Weather Service says scattered showers will occur throughout the Granite State this week, while the weekend looks good.

CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters are calling for another murky week weather-wise, but the possibility of a showerless Saturday for the first time in many months and a sunny Sunday, too.

The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, has been tracking the rain on Saturdays, and last weekend was the 13th in a row. Will the streak be broken this weekend? Maybe. We’ll see the updated weekend forecast on Thursday.

But for this week, expect a lot of rain.

Scattered showers are expected on Tuesday, mainly mid-afternoon, with highs in the lower 70s and a light wind in Concord and the capital region. It will be in the mid-70 in Nashua and southern and western New Hampshire, and upper 60s on the Seacoast. Overnight, rain is expected with highs in the lower 60s.

On Wednesday, more rain is expected in the late morning or early afternoon, with highs in the lower 80s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s on Wednesday night.

More showers are expected on Thursday, especially in the early afternoon, with highs in the upper 80s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 60s again with more rain.

The sun returns on Friday with highs in the upper 70s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-50s.

More sun is expected on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 80s. There could be a shower on Saturday night, forecasters said.
