Epsom Man Killed in I-93 Truck Crash

Kenneth White was a driver for Casella Waste Management.

An Epsom man was passed away after a two truck accident on I-93 in Salem this morning, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

Kenneth White, 65, of Epsom, perished on Nov. 21.

According to a report, troopers as well as Salem Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene of a rollover accident in the southbound lane of I-93 at around 10 a.m.

The truck – a trash truck owned by Casella Waste Management – was blocking the travel lane and the right breakdown lane after crashing into an AAA truck that was in the breakdown lane assisting a motorist.

“The waste management truck moved partially into the breakdown lane, struck the front portion of the AAA tow truck and subsequently rolled over,” according to Sgt. N.A. Noyes of the NHSP.

White was pronounced dead at the scene.

I-93 was reduced to a single lane for about 45 minutes until a second lane was opened. Other lanes remained closed at this time while police investigate the incident.
