Epsom Teen Injured In Dirt Bike Crash At Clough State Park
Alex Kainder was taken to Concord Hospital by Dunbarton EMTs on Sunday after he rode off a trail, crashed, and suffered a head injury.

DUNBARTON, NH — A teen from Epsom was taken to Concord Hospital after a dirt bike crash on Sunday.
A New Hampshire Fish & Game conservation officer on patrol at Cough State Park was told about a possible bike crash on the Stark Pond Trail. The conservation officer, along with Dunbarton police and fire and rescue teams, all responded to the area. When they arrived, they learned others on the trail were able to bring the crash victim, Alex Kainder, 19, to the trailhead parking lot to be tended to by EMTs.
“(Kainder said he) riding with friends when he lost control of his dirt bike while navigating the trail and went off the trail,” Thomas Houghton, a conservation officer, said. “Kainder subsequently fell off of the dirt bike during the incident and sustained a head injury.”

Kainder was treated and then taken to Concord Hospital by a Dunbarton ambulance for further evaluation and treatment.
Fish and Game were assisted by Dunbarton police, firefighters, and the Army Corps of Engineers.
