
Manchester, NH – With the support of Citizens Bank Foundation, the Currier Museum offers free admission for all visitors during February and April 2013 school vacation weeks. This includes free entrance to the very popular special exhibition Lethal Beauty: Samurai Weapons and Armor.
“The Currier Museum brings world-class art exhibits to our community,” said Joe Carelli, President of Citizens Bank, New Hampshire. “We hope that free admission will enable many more families the opportunity to visit the museum and experience all that it offers for the whole family to enjoy .
This year’s vacation weeks are Monday, February 25 – Friday, March 1 and Monday, April 22 – Friday, 26. Throughout both weeks, the Currier will host many family and child-centered activities, ranging from storytime in the galleries to art-making activities. The Winter Garden Café will offer a special menu for kids.

The Currier Museum of Art is located at 150 Ash Street in Manchester, NH and is wheelchair accessible with free parking. Museum hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 11am-5pm; Saturday, 10am-5pm (free general admission 10am-12pm). CLOSED TUESDAYS.
