A favorite Grimm’s fairy tale comes to the Penacook Elementary School stage this Friday, February 10, 2012 in an original adaptation of The Fisherman and His Wife. When Will, the Fisherman, catches an enchanted fish it looks like his luck has changed. The fish offers him the chance to have his dreams come true but one wish leads to another and Will soon learns that if you have happiness you have everything you need.

PES. The show features original music including some pieces in the latest contemporary styles.
The Fisherman and His Wife features 43 local children. Throughout the past week, these talented performers have worked in intensive rehearsals conducted by the CSA actor-directors.
The Children’s Stage Adventures Actor/Educators Chandra Diesel and Nicole Jones will be the Narrators and other roles in the show. The Accompanist is PES Music Teacher Elaine Hashem.
The Fisherman and His Wife will be presented at PES on Friday at 1:30pm for the school, and at 6:30pm for the community. Both performances will be in the gym.
Ticket prices Friday are $3.00 per person. There is a family price of $10.00. Tickets will be available at the door. For further information call PES at 753-4891.
The audience is invited to bring cameras for the photo session that will follow the play. It is requested that no flash photos be taken during the presentation.
