Artist John Magnan, whose creations are included in the new exhibition In The Grain at the Mill Brook Gallery and Sculpture Garden, will explain how this happened to him at his artist talk at the gallery. John will trace his artistic journey from the secluded world of electronic intelligence to the highly visible world of open studios and public art. Along the way, the artist will explain the origins of his unique "growth ring carving" technique, and share his thoughts on where ideas come from in the first place.
