Expect More Downtown Concord Sidewalk Work
Work continues near the Concord Food Co-Op as well as other locations on Main Street.

CONCORD, NH — Traffic by the Concord Food Co-Op will be reduced to stop and go, using the exit area, starting this week and into next week. A flagger should be on hand to assist customers as needed. Work is being done on the snow melt system in front of the building and on the neighboring sidewalk. Paving of the Co-Op’s driveway is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 25. The Co-Op is open and accessible; customers should just use caution when entering and exiting.
Granite State Curbing will be on site on Saturday morning to continue work in the area of Fayette Street heading south and on the center island curbing. Curb prep will also continue in the area of Pleasant Street.
On Monday, Thompson Street will be closed for for utility work being done there.
