Fatal Crash Reported On I-93

Update: NHSP is investigating a crash at the Hooksett tollbooth in the open toll lane between a tractor-trailer and a car.

HOOKSETT, NH — Alerts online are reporting a fatal motor vehicle crash on the Southbound side of I-93 in Hooksett, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. The crash was reported near Mile Marker 27, just south of the open road tolls. NH Fire Alarm stated on Twitter that there was a “confirmed code grey” at the scene.

One of the vehicles involved may be a tractor-trailer truck, according to scanner chatter.

Rockingham Alert reported at 3:07 p.m. on Twitter that another patient at the scene was being treated for traumatic injuries. Use caution and expect delays.

"Services on scene of a serious motor vehicle accident with heavy entrapment involving tractor trailer vs auto, 1 fatality reported on scene," according to updated alerts.

Expect delays for at least a couple of hours as state police investigate the crash.
