Bradford Man Killed in Fiery SUV Crash on I-89
New Hampshire State Police currently investigating morning crash.

The New Hampshire State Police have identified the man who was killed in the accident involving a 1998 GMC Jimmy to be Victor Mcallister, 52, of Bradford.

State troopers are at the scene of a crash just south of Exit 9 on I-89 in Warner that took the life of the driver, according to an alert.
At around 7 a.m. on Nov. 26, a state trooper came upon a “fully engulfed” vehicle on the left side of the highway resting against the guardrail. Two people at a local business heard the crash and ran toward the accident, pulling the driver out of the vehicle. The driver was later pronounced dead. The Interstate was closed for a brief period of time while emergency response teams from Warner and the NH DOT doused the flames.

“A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of an older model SUV had been traveling northbound on I- 89 when it inexplicably drove off the left side of the road,” according to Sgt. Charles Johnston. “The vehicle subsequently struck a granite rock formation in the median, rolled over and caught fire.”
New Hampshire State Police are still investigating the crash and are not releasing the name f the individual until the next of kin can be reached.
