Fire At Bow Recycling Center Goes To 2-Alarms
Firefighters from Concord and around the capital region helped douse a fire at the town's recycling center Sunday and Monday.
BOW, NH — Area firefighters spent a number of hours Sunday night into Monday morning battling a warehouse fire in Bow.
The first call came in at just after 11:30 p.m. after a witness saw the warehouse at the town's recycling center fully involved.
Tanker and ladder trucks from Concord, Dunbarton, Hooksett, Hopkinton were called first to assist. Allenstown and Hooksett firefighters also offered mutual aid during the fire. At just before midnight, Pembroke's tower truck was also called in to help.

About 10 minutes later, Bow command conducted a personnel accountability report, to check and make sure that all the firefighters were OK, and then assessed the situation. At 12:20 a.m. Monday, a second alarm was sounded and more firefighters from surrounding communities, including Chichester and Loudon, also were called in to assist.
At post time, Bow firefighters were still reportedly on River Road, assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.

A little more than a year ago, a loader caught on fire at the town's recycling center.
