Fire At Pet Store Caused By Blower Fan: Concord Fire Chief
Watch: Concord fire and rescue teams were able to quickly douse a fire at the Petco on Fort Eddy Road — although cleanup took a few hours.

CONCORD, NH — A fire at a local pet shop on Monday in Concord was caused by a malfunctioning air blower fan, according to Sean Brown, the city’s fire chief.
Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to Petco on Fort Eddy Road around 8:30 p.m. for a fire alarm activation. When they arrived, they found the store’s sprinkler system activated and a fire burning in the grooming area of the shop.
