Fire, Police Called To 2 Pickup Crash, One That Rolled, On Route 4 In Chichester: Watch

Chichester, Concord, Loudon firefighters, and EMTs, as well as police, were sent to Dover Road near the Interstate 393 interchange Saturday.

CHICHESTER, NH — Chichester fire and rescue teams, Concord Tower 1, and Loudon EMTs, as well as police, were sent to Route 4 on Saturday for a rollover crash.

Around 1:30 p.m., capital region dispatch received a crash report involving two pickup trucks. One of the trucks rolled during the crash. Dispatch said the crash was near Super Shoe and the Interstate 393 interchange.

Around two minutes later, Engine 7 and Ambulance 1 from Concord were also requested to the crash.

When Chichester EMTs arrived, they confirmed the crash stating one pickup truck was on its side. The commander said the crash was just over the line into Pembroke.

The commander said there was no entrapment but there was at least one Status 3 condition patient. They also requested to hold the re-tone for other firefighters because they would assemble a crew with the firefighters available at the scene. Loudon EMTs then returned to service.

One person was taken to the hospital. Firefighters worked to stabilize the pickup truck before a tow truck could arrive.

About 15 minutes before, Hooksett fire and rescue teams were sent to tend to a hand injury where a vehicle rolled onto someone working on a car. One person was taken to Elliot Hospital.

About an hour after the crash, Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the Sewalls Falls Recreation Area for a person with a broken leg, while Northwood fire and rescue were called to Long Pond Road for a mail truck crash.
