The bulk of the fire was put out in a few minutes, according to scanner chatter. A fire commander said they would be continuing to dampen embers and the area while also requesting Concord police to be sent to the campsite.
Dispatch told the commander there were reports of a person with a chainsaw who had burns on their arms and asked if they needed an ambulance.
"Affirmative," the battalion chief said.
The commander also requested the railroad company be told that there was a fire hose across the track.
