Fire Reported At Former Concord Friendly's Location: Watch
Update: Firefighters in Concord are battling a blaze in the attic of the former restaurant on North Main Street.
CONCORD, NH — Nearly a year after it closed, the former Concord Friendly's Restaurant location is on fire.
Concord fire and rescue teams battled a building fire at the former North Main Street eatery Tuesday. The firefighters were sent to the building at 203 N. Main St. at just before 7 p.m. for a report of a fire. The arriving firefighters reported smoke coming from the attic area.
Capital fire dispatch requested mutual aid from around the area to assist and cover the community including firefighters from Epsom, Hooksett, Hopkinton, Pembroke, and the Penacook Rescue unit, as well as others.

About 15 minutes after the fire was reported, companies were ordered out of the building. Power was cut to the building.
Currently, firefighters passed through the second 20 minute mark of the fire.
