First-Degree Assaulter From Massachusetts Wanted By U.S. Marshals
Jeffrey Charles Forestier of Everett, MA, failed to appear at a sentencing hearing in New Hampshire in 2007. Have you seen him?

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is searching for a fugitive who skipped out on a sentencing hearing nearly 15 years ago.
Jeffrey Charles Forestier is 56, white, around 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, and a tattoo on his shoulder. Originally from Massachusetts, Forestier sometimes uses the alias “Jeffrey Forresteir,” Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said.
“Forestier is being sought on an arrest warrant for failing to appear for sentencing on a charge of first-degree assault,” he said. “Forestier was convicted in Carroll County for intentionally ramming his truck at full speed into a victim, pinning him against a fence after an argument in 2003. The victim survived the initial crash, which caused severe injuries, but he died in 2007.”

Forestier was initially charged with attempt, first-degree assault, and conduct after an accident. A homicide charge was added later, but he was found not guilty on that charge. He was found guilty on the accident charge and given a suspended sentence, superior court records stated. Forestier lost his appeal and fled before his sentencing, White said. In April 2013, Forestier’s attorney motioned to continue, which was granted. Another motion to continue was made in June 2013, but that one was denied.
Forestier was last known to reside in Everett, MA, where he has ties to family, friends, and associates throughout the area, he said.

“A reward of up to $2,500 has been authorized for information leading to the location and arrest of Forestier,” White said.
The warrant against Forestier was issued out of Carroll County in October 2007.
Anyone with information about Forestier was asked to contact local police or the task force at 603-225-1632.
