Fog, Rain, And Sun This Week In New Hampshire: Weather Forecast
National Weather Service forecasters warn of rain causing rivers to rise and ice to break up with possible ice jam flooding.
CONCORD, NH — Nice weather in New Hampshire is bracketed between rain at the beginning and end of the week, according to weather forecasters.
A “hazardous weather outlook” was issued Sunday morning, warning of showers through Monday night and the possibility the rain could cause rivers to rise. Fog will also be “dense” in some areas of the state. Thinning ice on waterways will also be breaking up, forecasters said.
“This will elevate the risk for ice jam flooding through early this week,” the alert stated.
