Forecasters Warn Of Flooding As Snowmelt Leads To Rivers Rising In NH: Weather Update
The National Weather Service also warns of black ice on streets and roads Thursday night as temperatures drop below freezing.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire will experience a mixed-weather weekend with blustery conditions, possible flooding, and slippery roads.
On Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” for Thursday through Tuesday as rain and melting snow could cause some flooding.
“Rain and snowmelt runoff could lead to nuisance flooding in low-lying areas with poor drainage,” the alert stated. “Localized ice jam flooding remains possible through Friday or until the rivers recede. Freezing temperatures Thursday night could result in prevalent black ice on area roads.”
