Former Concord City Councilor, County Attorney Endorses Hassan
Kathy Rogers says gubernatorial candidate will fight "radical" Speaker William O'Brien.

Former Concord City Councilor and Merrimack County Attorney recently endorsed Democrat , in her race for governor.
In a statement, Rogers called Hassan "a proven leader" who would stand up to "radical" Speaker and others in the Legislature.
"Maggie is honest and clear with people about where she stands on the issues that are important to all of us," Rogers said, "including protecting a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions."

Rogers, who is also running again for state representative, this time, for the Ward 8, 9, and 10 floterial seat, Merrimack District 28, said Hassan would protect the environment, promote good schools, and protect marriage equality.
Hassan said she was "honored" to receive Rogers' support and commended her work as an advocate and prosecutor.
"[Rogers] is also an important and thoughtful voice in the Democratic Party, and I look forward to having her on my team as our campaign continues its grassroots outreach to New Hampshire voters,” Hassan stated.
