Former Rep to Congress Backs Connolly
Dick Swett, who was also an ambassador, says the Democrat has a strong, disciplined approach to governance, and taken on tough fights.

BOW, NH — Earlier this week, former U.S Ambassador to Denmark and former U.S. Rep. Richard Swett announced his endorsement of Mark Connolly for governor, according to a press statement. Swett said that Connolly had a strong, disciplined approach to governance that was bolstered by his experience of taking on the tough fights and getting results.
“Of everyone running for election right now, I believe he’s poised to do the most good once in office, and I am proud to support him," he said.
“I’m honored by Ambassador Swett’s support,” said Connolly. “His principled service to the people of New Hampshire and to our country is a model for elected officials everywhere, and I look forward to engaging with him as we work toward a more sustainable energy future.”
