Foundation to Make $10M in Donations
In 2013, Lincoln Financial will issue quarterly grants to nonprofits in Concord, other locations.

The Lincoln Financial Group announced this week that it would issue $10 million in grants and chartable contributions in the coming year, according to 3BLMedia.com.
The donations will be made in “key cities” where the company has “a strong business presence” including Concord, as well as Fort Wayne, IN, Hartford, CT, Greensboro, NC, Philadelphia, PA, and Omaha, NE.
Nancy Rogers, the president of the Lincoln Financial Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Lincoln Financial Group, noted that the company was “proud” to continue its tradition of making investments in communities where the company’s employees live and work.

“We believe that strong communities foster a strong economy and we will once again award grants to local and national programs that help achieve that goal,” she noted in a statement.
The company has made a number of major donations to community charities including The Friendly Kitchen and also sponsors business talks and events, including those sponsored by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire.
