Concord Police: Drew Parenteau arrested twice in three weeks.

A Franklin man with a previous criminal history is facing a slew of charges after two arrests during the past six weeks.
Drew Daniel Parenteau, 31, of Woodrow Avenue in Franklin, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. on Oct. 21, and charged with prowling, criminal trespass, resisting arrest or detention, possession of controlled drugs, and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a felony. He was arrested again at 7:48 p.m. on Nov. 10, on a possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
According to the first report, officers were sent to Walker Tree Service on Sheep Davis Road at around 4:21 p.m. for a past tense burglary.

The owner of the property reported “several metal items” taken from the area including two metal car ramps, a floor jack, rafters, and other items. The man reported that the items were there around noon the previous day but when he noticed them missing the next day, he called police.
While speaking with the man, the reporting officer noticed a red Ford pickup truck and asked it was his and he said it wasn’t. They went to check the truck out and found some of the missing scrap metal in the bed of the truck.

The officers called for backup while the man went into his business and locked the door.
The officers began looking around for the owner of the truck who was revealed to be Parenteau after a check of the registration of the vehicle.
While searching for him, one of the officers saw Parenteau allegedly running through a wooded area. One officer ordered him to stop while calling for the other officers. He later stopped, was cuffed, and taken into custody. Since the metal was in plain view, the truck was towed to the police station.
After being read his Miranda rights, Parenteau spoke with the officer for a bit and then was processed. During processing, the officer alleged that Parenteau was in possession of a bag of marijuana. The officer asked about the dried blood on his face and Parenteau said he got nicked while scrapping a small metal fridge at Schnitzer’s.
According to the report, Parenteau was convicted of a theft by unauthorized taking felony charge in March 2009, and a felony receiving stolen property charge in September 2009, in Belknap County Superior Court. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and was due in court on Dec. 8.
A few weeks later, a warrant was taken out for Parenteau on a possession of a prescription drug without a prescription charge from an incident at the Concord Police station on Oct. 28, according to a report. Franklin Police arrested him and transported him to Concord. He was release on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Dec. 29.
According to online reports, Parenteau was arrested earlier this month on theft charges in Northfield and was arrested in 2010 on trespassing and attempted theft charges in Franklin.
