Franklin Woman Faces Doctor Shopping Charge
New Hampshire State Police arrest Starcia Kimani after complaint from a Concord doctor.

A local woman was arrested on a drug charge after a complaint was filed by a local doctor.
Starcia Kimani, 35, of Chestnut Street in Franklin, was arrested on Dec. 22, 2014, and charged with obtaining controlled drugs by fraud.
According to New Hampshire State Police, investigators with the Narcotics and Investigations Unit, Drug Diversion Section received a complaint from a Concord medical doctor that Kimani “had been seeing multiple practitioners to receive narcotic drugs, commonly referred to as a doctor shopping.”

After her arrest, she was released on $10,000 personnel recognizance bail and given a court date to appear at the 6th Circuit-District Division Concord Court for March 23.
