FREE Toilet Dye Test Kits At Concord General Services
In celebration of the EPA WaterSense Programs's Fix A Leak Week.

Concord General Services is offering FREE Toilet Dye Test Kits (while supplies last) at their Utility Billing office at 311 North State Street to encourage Concord water consumers to practice finding and fixing leaks in celebration of the EPA WaterSense Program’s Fix A Leak Week (March 14, 2016 through March 20, 2016).
A leaky faucet, showerhead, toilet, or irrigation system may seem harmless, but 11,000 gallons of water can be wasted each year in an average household through minor water leaks such as these. Nationwide, that can add up to 1 trillion gallons of water wasted annually. Common leaks are easily correctable. Fixing leaks can reduce water consumption and potentially save money on water bills.
Pete Hodgkins, a commercial property owner in Concord, didn’t think a small leak was a big deal until he saw his water bill quadruple, “I couldn’t believe how much a leaky toilet could cost! Jiggling the handle was not the solution. I realized I needed to fix this leak by replacing the toilet, which was half the cost of my highest water bill.” Look for the WaterSense label when upgrading fixtures to save water and potentially even money on your utility bills. WaterSense labeled products earn the WaterSense label through independent certification to meet the U.S. EPA’s criteria for water efficiency, force, and flow.
