Lakin has a goal set of $10,000, although much more will be needed to help with the recovery effort. She said Krissi’s husband, Robert, is a driver who makes runs out of town for days at a time but may need to leave his job during the first stages of his wife’s recovery. At post time, slightly more than $2,000 had been raised.
