Friends of Forgotten Children Receives $10K

Capitol Region Board of Realtors makes donation to organization.

Last week, that Capitol Region Board of Realtors donated $10,219 to the Friends of Forgotten Children from its 2014 charity auction.

The organization held its annual luncheon and made the check presentation at that time.

The Friends of Forgotten Children is a volunteer organization that has been providing food, clothing, and holiday gifts to families since the early 1970s.

The organization will also be holding a Family Day Game at the Verizon Wireless Arena with the Manchester Monarchs are Jan. 18, 2015, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15, which includes a “chuck-a-puck” voucher.
