Get Ready to Give, New Hampshire
The NH Gives Day event begins on June 7; residents are urged to make a donation – or donations – to their favorite nonprofit org online.

The annual NH Gives Day, a 24-hour, statewide, online fundraising effort for New Hampshire nonprofits begins on Tuesday and runs through 11:59 p.m. on June 7, 2016.
The event – an initiative of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits and sponsored by New Hampshire Charitable Foundation as well as Grappone Automotive Group, St. Mary’s Bank, the New Hampshire Union Leader, and Heartwood Media, as well as other organizations – hopes to not only raise money but also awareness about the hard work many of the state’s organizations undertake.
The initiative also offers prizes to nonprofits for participating including $500 for the organization with the first donation on June 7, $500 for the org with the most donation and another for the most dollars raised, as well as $250 to a random organization that gets at least one donation (issued six times during the day). The charitable foundation is also issuing donations as prizes, too, to organizations that raise money.
