Get Ready For Memorial Day In Concord

Here's what you need to know about the parade route and times for the city's annual event on May 27.

CONCORD, NH — On Monday, May 27, 2019, the city of Concord will be celebrating Memorial Day with a parade in Downtown Concord and the North End as well as festivities at the City Plaza War Memorial. Expect street closures and/or delays on Monday morning. The parade will start at 9 a.m. at the Capital Shopping Center on Storrs Street.

From there, the parade will march up Pleasant Street Extension to North Main Street and onto Bouton Street. The parade will turn onto North State Street and stop at the Old North Cemetery where a wreath will be laid.

The parade will continue until Capital Street where it will end. A ceremony will then take place at the City Plaza War Memorial in front of the Statehouse.

Paul Lloyd noted on the Concord NH Patch Facebook site that everyone is invited to attend and watch the parade and ceremonies. Any and all veterans can walk in the parade with veteran organizations, too.
