PEMBROKE, NH — A friend of a family that lost their home due to fire in Pembroke on Saturday has created a GoFundMe.com site to help them raise money. The goal is set at $2,000 and is more than halfway to goal at press time. According to Julianne Van Kalken, the family made it out safely but lost their two cats.

“They only have the clothes they were wearing when the fire started,” she noted. “The home is a total loss. Please consider donating to this kind, wonderful family to help them rebuild.”
