5 Things for a Friday in Concord.

- Another nice day. Expect partly sunny skies, highs in the high 40s, with a light wind. Overnight lows drop down into the 30s.
- Getting to 1,500. The Concord NH Patch Facebook site is slowly creeping up to 1,500 likes. Won’t you like us please? Help us reach this new goal and don't forget to tell all your friends too!
- Meditation. Immanuel Community Church hosts Good Friday Hours of Meditation at noon and 3 p.m. Enjoy quiet reflection during this spiritual time.
- Annual Spring Social. The Concord Family YMCA’s ninth annual spring event will be held at the Capitol Center for the Arts starting at 5:30 p.m. Beer and wine tasting, a chef cook-off, and silent and live auction. Tickets are $35.
- Other stuff. Don’t forget to go to Ruby Tuesday today and help out the Friends of Forgotten Children. At 5:30 p.m., Jen has a Zumba class at Concord Dance Academy. The Wild and Scenic Film Festival Fundraiser will be held at the Red River Theatres at 6:30 p.m. Charlie Farren plays The Purple Pit at 8 p.m.
