Part 1 — U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander Speaks at Rotary Club in Concord, NH

U.S. Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), a candidate for reelection, spoke at the Rotary Club in Concord, New Hampshire Tuesday. She spoke one-on-one with club members, discussing housing, healthcare, and her military record. During her remarks, she recalled working under the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), and his friendship with late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA). She said their friendship and partnership despite party lines is what inspires her to work within an increasingly divided Congress. Asked about the Democratic Socialists of America, Rep. Goodlander said that while a capitalist, she can see how America’s capitalist systems are failing people, but that DSA’s platform is not a clear solution. “We need competition in our economy, but not a new economic order.”
