Graffiti Vandals Strike Concord With Swastikas, Other Obscenities

Police are asking for the public's help solving the cases.

The  is requesting the public’s help in identifying potential suspects involved in recent graffiti tagging incidents on Oct. 24.

According to a report, graffiti was found on two garage doors on Oakmont Drive. More graffiti was found on the exterior wall of the East Congregational Church on Mountain Road. And graffiti was also found on a parked vehicle in the Durgin Block parking garage. 

The graffiti contained "swastikas and other obscene remarks" and was done in red and black paint, according to a police report.

Investigators have collected evidence related to the incidents but it is unknown if all four incidents are connected or were done by the same suspect or suspects.

"Anyone having information as to who committed these crimes is encouraged to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100 and can do so anonymously," said acting-Concord Police Chief John Duval.

This is the latest incident of graffiti vandalism in recent months. Over the summer, a number of homes in the some of the city's African immigrant population.

The Concord Regional Crimeline accepts anonymous tips and anyone with information that leads to the arrest and indictment of potential suspects can receive a cash award.

Anyone with information about these cases is asked to call 603-226-3100 or report information online at concordregionalcrimeline.com. Information can also be texted to “TIP234” or “CRIMES (274637).”
