Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Announces 2016 Citizen of the Year
The president of Devine Strategies was previously a White House speech writing team where she served Presidents Nixon, Ford and Bush.

CONCORD, NH — The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce recently named Teresa Rhodes Rosenberger, president of Devine Strategies, as its 2016 Citizen of the Year. The award was presented at the Chamber’s 97th Annual Meeting, presented by Bank of America, at the Grappone Conference Center on Nov. 15, according to a press statement.
Before a large crowd of local business and community leaders, Ms. Rosenberger was recognized for being a tenacious, thoughtful, results-driven, energized leader and committed philanthropist through the extent of her involvement with numerous local, regional and statewide organizations.
“We are honored and thrilled to name Teresa as our next Citizen of the Year,” said Tim Sink, Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce President. “She is an individual who has given so much, in so many ways over the course of so many years.”

Ms. Rosenberger began her 30-year career in public policy, communications, and advocacy at U.S. News and World Report in Washington, which led to the White House speech writing team where she served Presidents Nixon, Ford and Bush. She moved to New Hampshire in 1990 to serve as the state Director of AARP where she helped develop advocacy positions and strategies for the elections. In 2010, Ms. Rosenberger was recruited by FairPoint Communications to serve as its New Hampshire CEO during a particularly challenging transition; under her leadership, FairPoint successfully turned things around and was later voted the best telecommunications company in N.H.
Today, it is hard to imagine Concord without her imprint. A graduate of the very first class of Leadership Greater Concord, Ms. Rosenberger has been actively involved in the community since 1993, serving as chairman of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, the New Hampshire Historical Society and the Concord YMCA. She also volunteered on the boards of the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, the Capital Region Healthcare Board, the Josiah Bartlett Center and City Year New Hampshire. A 2011 New Hampshire Business Review “Outstanding Women in Business,” our honoree has enriched the community in ways that will endure into history.

As president of Devine Strategies, Ms. Rosenberger puts her extensive background in business and non-profit leadership, regulatory matters, government affairs, public relations, grassroots organizing and economic development to work, helping clients develop strategies for success and growth.
Each year, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce selects an individual from the community who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and performance in several areas of community service over a period of years. The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor the 2016 Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Teresa Rhodes Rosenberger.
