Gun Discharged on South Main Street: Report

Police are investigating a report of a gun fired on Friday night in Downtown Concord.

CONCORD, NH — Concord Police are investigating a possible firearm discharge on South Main Street in the area of the Draft Sports Bar and Grill, according to a press statement on Saturday. At just before midnight on Feb. 10, 2017, officers were sent to the restaurant for a report of someone discharging a firearm, according to Lt. Cori Casey of the Concord Police Department.

“Arriving officers met with employees who were unaware of the incident,” he noted.

A single shell casing was found in the area in front of the restaurant. Casey noted that it is unknown at the time of the press statement if anyone or anything was struck by the bullet.

“We are receiving full cooperation by the Draft employees regarding this incident,” he stated. “The investigation is ongoing.
