Hannaford Recalling Frozen Vegetables

Listeria monocytogenes scare extends to other products.

The Hannaford Supermarket chain is recalling frozen food items possible Listeria contamination, according to a product recall notice on the company's website.

The company is requesting all customers that purchased Tai Pei Shrimp Fried Rice and Taste of Inspirations Chicken Poblano Firecrackers to return them to stores immediately.

The products listed may contain vegetables that are part of recalls during the last few weeks issued by CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, WA.

"Hannaford works closely with suppliers and government agencies to provide customers with healthy, nutritious choices," the company stated online. "Any product sold through our stores that has been recalled by the producer is removed from our shelves."
