GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook warning of heavy downpours and possible thunderstorms, according to an alert. The alert was posted at around 9 a.m. on June 23, 2017. It covers all of the Granite State.

“A moist, tropical air mass will move into the area today, with increasing instability leading to the potential for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening,” the alert stated. “Heavy downpours will be the primary threat from these thunderstorms, but there is a low risk for a few storms to produce damaging winds as well.”
