Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds Expected In NH Wednesday Night
Breaking: The NWS is warning Granite State residents about the first Nor'easter of the season, bringing rain and wind gusts.

GRAY, MAINE — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the state of New Hampshire Wednesday warning residents of heavy rain, gusty winds, and possible minor flooding. The storm is expected to begin between 7 and 8 p.m. Wednesday. The alert is for the entire state.
"Areas of heavy rain is possible Wednesday night into Thursday with the highest amounts in the mountains," the alert stated. "Although widespread flooding is not expected, poor drainage areas may see minor flooding. In addition, gusty winds to 30-40mph are expected late tonight into Thursday."
As the low front moves out of the area, the rain will follow with it, the alert noted, sometime on Thursday night.

On the Seacoast, expect gusts up to 55 knots with seas from 13 to 18 feet.
Rain will start in southwest NH late this afternoon and spread across Maine through midnight. The heaviest is expected across NH and southwest Maine.
