Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Expected In New Hampshire
Breaking: The National Weather Service is warning that heavy rain is coming to the state tonight with flash flooding Thursday.

GRAY, ME — Two storm fronts merging from the Great Lakes west and along the Northeast seacoast north will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms into New Hampshire Wednesday. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather alert for most of the state at a little past 2:30 p.m., including Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham counties, as well as a flash flood watches for Exeter, Hampton, Nashua, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Salem, and surrounding communities.
"While most of the heavy rain is expected to fall south of the mountains and closer to the coast," the alert stated, "localized areas of heavy rainfall are possible along the cold front as it crosses the region tonight."
Anywhere from a half to three quarters of an inch of rain is possible. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s inland and along the Seacoast overnight.
