Heights Old Home Day Held Sunday

Head to Keach Park off Canterbury Road from noon to 6 p.m. for all kinds of family fun.

The Heights Community Old Home Day will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at Keach Park (rain location: Heights Community Center) off Canterbury Road.

The Miss Heights Junior Miss contest-open to Concord-area girls (ages 7- to 12-years-old) will be held as well as the Heights You’ve Got Talent Show with two categories, ages 6- to 15-years-old and 16 years and older. The best singer, best dancer, and best other talent will be awarded.

A cane will be awarded to eldest Heights resident, the only contest where recipient has to be a previous or current Heights’ resident. There will also be a Best Pie contest.

Entertainment includes Back 2 Back Band and Club Soda. There will be a Pumpkin Patch corner with children’s activities and games, special Guest MCs and judges and other guests, local artisan and informational vendors, as well as food concession stands.
