Herschlag: Thanks Bill

What do we want to accomplish? In an election we want to know who won and we want to be able to verify the results - should a question arise - in a manner that all can have confidence in.

There is nothing wrong with modernizing. But it should result in improvements (or at a minimum continuing the status quo) not just fancier bells and whistles.

Our Secretary of State has managed our elections in a manner that gives us all confidence that at the end of the night we can be confident in the results.

There’s a reason Bill Gardner has been our Secretary of State since 1976. Common sense, careful vetting of new technology, integrity and only one goal, to serve the people of the State of New Hampshire to the absolute best of his ability.

How fortunate we are.
