Highs Of Up To 102 Degrees Expected In New Hampshire This Week: Weather Forecast
The National Weather Service has issued an "excessive heat watch" for midweek as temps are expected to reach the upper 80s to low 100s.
CONCORD, NH — While it is not quite summer yet, it will feel like it this week as temperatures climb into the mid-80s on Monday, the upper 90s on Tuesday, and the 100s on Wednesday and Thursday, according to weather forecasters.
The National Weather Service issued an “excessive heat watch” and a “hazardous weather outlook” on Sunday, warning of very hot temps this week. The warnings are for Merrimack County, central, eastern, and western Hillsborough County, and interior Rockingham County.
“Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible,” the excessive heat watch stated. “Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.”
