Hoit Road Crash Victim's Family Seeks Assistance for Medical Bills
gofundme.com effort started to raise $10,000 for Barbara Rich.

Concord Fire and Rescue teams as well as police were sent to a car accident at Hoit Road and Whitney Road in the early morning hours of Nov. 12, Veterans Day.
One of the drivers, Barbara Rich, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Concord Hospital. Rich was driving her son to work at the time of the accident. Her son was also taken to the hospital. Rich suffered broken bones and fractures, according to the family, and suffered a stroke during her first surgery.
“She is unable to move the right side of her body. She is still unable to speak or move the right side of her body and is expected to be in the hospital for many months.”

Because the other driver did not have insurance, her family is attempting to raise $10,000 through gofundme.com to offset hospital bills.
According to police, no charges after been filed in the case although that may change in the future.
