Breaking: Firefighters put out fire along I-93 railroad tracks.

CONCORD, NH — Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to a brush fire at a massive homeless camp along the railroad tracks behind the abandoned New Hampshire State Liquor and Wine Outlet warehouse on Storrs Street earlier this evening. The fire was first reported at just before 6:30 p.m. on July 19, 2017. It was reportedly around 30 square feet of brush along I-93.

Officials reported that as firefighters arrived, a number of homeless people scattered from the area. A large amount of debris, countless alcohol bottles and beer cans, as well as hypodermic needles could be seen along the trail to access the burned out area.

Officials estimate there could be as many as 100 homeless people are camped out between Market Basket on Storrs Street and Steenbeke on South Main Street.
