Hooksett Man Arrested On 9 Child Sexual Abuse Images Charges

HOOKSETT, NH — A man from Hooksett is facing felony child pornography charges after being accused by police of possessing multiple images and videos on a cloud account that belonged to him.
A detective in Hooksett received a cyber tip from the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in late November 2023 about a possible child pornography possession case in town. Det. Lt. James Bradley of Hooksett police said, “Through the early stages of (their) investigation,” another detective identified a suspect as Derek Aubuchon, 44, of Marigold Way in Hooksett.
“(The) detective applied for and was granted search warrants for the suspect’s phone and cloud account,” he said. “Forensic examination uncovered multiple images and videos on the cloud account belonging to the suspect.”

A warrant was requested on Wednesday, and Aubuchon was arrested on Friday on nine felony counts of child sexual abuse images. He was released on personal recognizance and is due in Hooksett District Court on March 21.
