Hooksett Man Killed in I-93 Car Crash

New Hampshire State Police are investigating the death of Matthew Maylone this morning.

The New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that took place during the early morning hours of Sept. 19, 2015, on I-93 in Woodstock, according to a report.

Preliminary investigation indicated that at just before 2:30 a.m., a 2008 Nissan Altima was traveling north at Mile Marker 96 when it lost control, went off the roadway, and collided with an embankment rolling over several times.

Matthew D. Maylone, 23, of Hooksett, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Contributing factors into the crash are still under investigation.

Assisting at the crash were members of the Woodstock, Lincoln, and Campton Police Departments as well as Fire and Rescue units from the Woodstock Fire Department.

Maylone, according to his Facebook page, was attending Plymouth State College and also in the U.S. Air Force.
