CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters issued a “hazardous weather outlook” warning for New Hampshire on Monday due to hot weather and, later, the remnants of Hurricane Beryl and thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service said Monday that “heat index values” could reach the upper 90s on Tuesday.

After possible passing showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon, temps will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Similar weather is expected on Wednesday, with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with highs in the upper 80s.

On Thursday, the temps will drop into the lower 80s as showers and thunderstorms move into the region in the morning and evening.

“Deep tropical moisture associated with the remnants of Beryl could produce very heavy rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday, which may lead to flooding,” Monday’s alert stated.
