House Fire Reported In Concord's South End
Firefighters were sent to Pillsbury Street Saturday for a report of a kitchen fire with possible extension.
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters were called to Pillsbury Street Saturday for a kitchen fire — with possible extension. The fire was reported at 109 Pillsbury St., a duplex, at just before 8 p.m. All occupants were able to exit the building before firefighters arrived, according to fire dispatch.
When firefighters arrived, they reported nothing showing from the building. But on the South Street side of the building, they found smoke coming from the house, according to scanner chatter.
Firefighters extended a firehose from a hydrant near the house to extinguish the fire while calling in mutual aid from other communities to cover Concord.
